Campus Signage
All campus signage must be approved and ordered through our office and cannot be made and placed on your own. Campus has a strict sign policy that all must follow.
First Aid Supplies
Remember safety is a priority, and it is important for your group to bring their own first aid supplies, stocked especially with ice packs and Band-Aids. Our front desk only stocks a small supply for emergencies.
Guest Wi-Fi Access
To connect to the Wi-Fi, guests should choose “UCSB Wireless Web” from the network options and select “Guest Registration” under the credential login. Once they register, they'll receive an SMS/text message with a username and password, which is enabled for a seven-day connection.
EDUROAM is also available in academic and administrative buildings throughout the UCSB campus. For a full list of the participating U.S. institutions, visit https://www.eduroam.us/institutions_list. For links to participating international institutions, visit https://www.eduroam.org/where/.
Mail Deliveries
All packages being shipped to conferees with personal items (i.e. Amazon purchases, etc.) should be shipped directly to your business address (not the residence hall, apartment, or UCSB Conference Office). Please provide your business address clearly in your pre-conference materials so that your participants know where to send their items. Renting a PO Box at the Post Office located inside the University Center on campus is also an option. If you would like more information, please contact your Conference Manager.
Residence hall front desks and apartments cannot accept packages or mail and will be returned to sender.
Only conference materials (t-shirts, books, etc.) should be shipped to the Conference Manager. Please note that conference materials may only be sent via UPS, DHL, or FedEx. USPS will not deliver packages to our office. All conference material deliveries should be shipped to the following address (between 6/22 and 8/28/26). Please check in with your Conference Manager if the delivery date is outside this timeframe.

UCSB Alerts
The UCSBAlert system is intended to enhance and promote safety on campus by providing community members and visitors with timely access to important information. Visitors who would like to receive access to emergency messages sent by UCSB Police can subscribe to our Nixle channel by texting UCSBAlert to 888777. (Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.) Subscriptions to UCSBAlert are temporary and expire on Mondays at 8:00am, but can also be canceled by replying STOP at any time. Visitors must renew subscriptions to continue receiving alerts after they expire. For additional information on the UCSB Alert system please visit the UC Santa Barbara Police Department website.
For alerts and information about incidents that occur outside of Clery geography (e.g., Isla Vista, Goleta, Santa Barbara) the campus community is encouraged to sign up for Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency alerts in Goleta or Santa Barbara.
